Yuuki Tokunaga, born on February 20, 1995, in Osaka, is a Japanese enka singer
and actor with roots in Kakeromajima, Amami Islands, Kagoshima Prefecture.
Influenced by his enka-loving parents, he began singing from an early age and
gained local attention as a teenager performing at Amami community events in
Kansai. His big break came in 2012 when he won the NHK Nodo Jiman Champion
Tournament, leading to a debut offer from a record label. Tokunaga officially
debuted on November 13, 2013, with the single ”Sayonara wa Namida ni", composed
