Aleksandar Simonovski, known professionally as YUGO and previously as Jugo
Ürdens, was born in 1996 in Skopje, North Macedonia. He is a rapper and music
producer. He moved to Vienna, Austria at the age of seven. His musical journey
began with his first song written at the age of sixteen. In 2017, Simonovski
released his debut EP Ajde, which included the single "DiesDas" and the track
"Österreicher". He gained significant attention in 2018 with the release of his
self-titled album YUGO on Gerard's label Futuresfuture. In November 2024, he
