The Crash was a Finnish pop‑rock group formed in Turku, Finland, in 1991 by
Teemu Brunila and Samuli Haataja, with Erkki Kaila on drums and Dani Aavinen on
bass; later keyboardist Toni Ahola joined after the name change to The Crash in
1998. Their breakthrough came with the single "Lauren Caught My Eye" in 2002,
which became the first Finnish video to receive extensive MTV play. The band
