The Australian Voices, a choir of young adult singers from Australia, was
founded in 1993 by Graeme Morton and Stephen Leek to promote Australian choral
composition. Graeme Morton served as artistic director until 1996, during which
the group's debut album, Great Southern Spirits, released in 1994, won the
Sunnie Award for Best Classical Recording. Stephen Leek directed the choir from
1996 to 2009, leading them to first prizes at the 2001 International Eisteddfod
