Tammy Cochran, born January 30, 1972, in Austinburg, Ohio, is an American
country music singer. Growing up, she was influenced by artists like Loretta
Lynn and Barbara Mandrell, and began performing at her family's local church
before forming her own band called "TC Country." Cochran moved to Nashville,
Tennessee, in 1991, where she met songwriter Shane Decker, who helped her create
demo tapes. In 2000, she signed with Epic Records Nashville and released her
