Swoopna Suman
Real name Suman Thapa, Swoopna Suman is a Nepalese pop and folk singer born in
Kathmandu on December 2, 1995. He began his career in 2011 by publishing videos,
and taught himself to play guitar. His first single, "K Saro Ramri Bhako", was
released in 2014 on Karma Records, before signing to Arbitrary Records in 2016.
Several tracks followed, including "Je Chhau Timi" in duet with Samir Shrestha
in 2023, alongside his activities with The Asters since 2021. In 2022, his track
"Baacha Bhayo" won the National Music Award. Married to model Jyotsna Yogi since
