SMLE is an American electronic music duo consisting of Ruben Cardenas and Lewis
Martinee. Their early work included singles such as "6 AM" (2014) and "Halo"
(2016), featuring Helen Tess. In 2015, they released their first EP, Reasons To.
They gained significant recognition for their remix of Bobby Rush's song "Funk
O'De Funk", earning a nomination for Best Remixed Recording at the 60th Annual
Grammy Awards in 2018. Their contributions to electronic music solidified their
status as influential producers within the genre.
