Simian Mobile Disco
A hugely respected production, remixing and recording project, Simian Mobile
Disco are basically two highly imaginative, influential and inventive musicians
and techno wizards - James Ford and Jas Shaw. The SMD project began as an
offshoot of Simian, an electronic rock band formed by Ford and Shaw in
Manchester in 2000. The band did well and Ford and Shaw gradually established
their reputations as top DJs with inventive remixes of singles by the likes of
Klaxons, Muse and The Go! Team, before releasing Attack Decay Sustain Release -
their debut album using the Simian Mobile Disco...
