Sigrid Terese Moldestad, born on July 19, 1972, in Breim, Gloppen, Norway, is a
Norwegian folk singer and instrumentalist. She graduated from Firda High School
and Ole Bull-akademiet, and began her career working at the Norwegian
Broadcasting Corporation (NRK) before becoming a full-time freelance musician in
2000. Moldestad's breakthrough came with the duo Spindel, releasing their
self-titled album Spindel in 2001 and later Aminje in 2005. She also formed the
