Sharam Q, a pioneering Japanese pop-rock band formed in 1988, are known for
their blend of rock, J-pop, and funk influences. The band originally consisted
of Tsunku (vocals), Hatake (guitar), Makoto (drums), and Shu (bass). Sharam Q
rose to prominence in the early 1990s, debuting with "18kagetsu" (18ヶ月, 18
months) in 1992. Their music often featured a combination of Tsunku’s powerful
vocals and Hatake's distinctive guitar work, imbuing rock energy with a pop
