Born in Fremont, California, on June 11, 1988, singer, guitarist and songwriter
Rome Rene Ramirez is best known as Rome and for his participation in the reggae
rock and ska-punk trio Sublime with Rome. Born to Mexican parents who emigrated
to California, Rome Ramirez moved to Los Angeles at the age of eighteen and
concentrated on his musical career. In 2008, he met Eric Wilson, formerly of
ska-punk band Sublime, and formed a trio with Bud Gaugh. Named Sublime with
