Based in Portland, Oregon and formed in 2004, the American quartet Portugal. The Man, led by singer John Gourley. Incorporating elements of funk and synthpop, they cultivate psychedelic pop-rock with a care that doesn't prevent them from being prolific, releasing five albums in their five years of existence: Waiter: "You Vultures!
