Peter Jay and The Jaywalkers were a British instrumental rock group formed
around 1960 in the United Kingdom. Peter Jay, born on January 29, 1944, in
Southgate, North London, England, was the drummer and leader of the band. The
group initially consisted of Pete "Buzz" Miller, Tony Webster (rhythm guitar),
Mac McIntyre (tenor sax and flute), Lloyd Baker (piano and baritone sax), Geoff
Moss (bass guitar) and Johnny Larke (bass guitar). Peter Jay formed the group
