Peaches & Herb, an American vocal duo from Washington, were formed in 1966 by
Herbert Feemster, known as Herb Fame. Their breakthrough came that year when a
St. Louis disc jockey played the B-side of their single "Let's Fall in Love",
leading to successful singles and albums including "Close Your Eyes" and Love Is
Strange. Initially comprising Herb Fame and Francine Edna "Peaches" Hurd Barker,
