Parov Stelar
Born in Linz on November 27, 1974, Austrian DJ and producer Marcus Füreder began
using the pseudonym Parov Stelar in 2004. That same year, he founded the Etage
Noir Recordings label and released the album Rough Cuts, in which he began to
develop his electro swing style. Parov Stelar plays with the Parov Stelar Band
or as the Parov Stelar Trio, bringing the warmth of instruments to his samples.
Parov Stelar's tracks appear on a number of compilations, including several
volumes in the Buddha Bar and Hôtel Costes series. In March 2013, Parov Stelar
releases The Invisible Girl album ...
