Owen Danoff, born November 3, 1989, is an American singer-songwriter from
Washington, D.C. He was exposed to music from a young age, with his father being
Grammy Award winner Bill Danoff of the Starland Vocal Band. At 15, Danoff wrote
and self-produced his first original song. After graduating from Berklee College
of Music, he returned to the D.C. music scene, performing at venues like the
Birchmere and the Kennedy Center. In 2014, he released his full-length debut
album Twelve Stories, which won him three Washington Area Music Awards for best
