Nicholas Anthony Movshon (born March 17, 1982) is an American bass guitarist,
drummer, and songwriter deeply involved in the New York funk and soul revival.
Beginning as a teenager with The Mighty Imperials, he became a key figure in
bands like Antibalas, El Michels Affair, and Menahan Street Band. Collaborating
with Daptone and Truth & Soul Records, he played with Charles Bradley, Lee
Fields, and Sharon Jones. Movshon contributed to Amy Winehouse's Back to Black
