Michael Rault, born on January 22, 1989, in Edmonton, Alberta, is a Canadian
singer-songwriter, producer, engineer, and guitarist. His musical journey began
with the release of Living Daylight in 2015, which received a rating of 7.3 from
Pitchfork and featured the single "Nothing Means Nothing", premiered by Spin
magazine. In 2018, Rault released his album It's a New Day Tonight on Wick
Records, an indie rock subsidiary of Daptone Records. Throughout his career,
Michael Rault has shared stages with notable artists such as Charles Bradley,
Whitney, and Dent May.
