MC Rogê, born Roger Souza Gonçalves, is a Brazilian funk artist from Rio de
Janeiro who broke into the baile funk scene as a teenager, gaining attention
around 2018 with tracks such as “Sento no Bico da Glock” with DJ Gabriel do
Borel and MC Lucy, “Toma Toma Tá” and “Coisas da Vida” with DJ Pedro Henrique,
which circulated widely on social media and streaming platforms. In 2019 he
consolidated that early momentum with the single “Sem Essa de Perder” and a
high-profile guest spot on WC no Beat’s “Nossa Que Isso,” alongside Djonga,
