Shin Dong-hyun, known professionally as MC Mong, was born on 4 September 1979,
in Seoul, South Korea and is recognised for his roles as a rapper, record
producer, radio personality, actor, and television personality. He began his
career in 1998 as a member of the hip-hop group People Crew, releasing three
albums between 1999 and 2002. MC Mong's breakthrough came through acting,
notably on the sitcom Nonstop 4 in 2003, which propelled him to mainstream
popularity. He made his solo debut as a rapper with the album 180 Degree in
