Martins, born Thiago Emanoel Martins do Nascimento in Recife on August 25, 1990,
is a Brazilian singer-songwriter and instrumentalist known for blending
traditional folk influences with contemporary music. He began his journey deeply
influenced by regional poetry and the repentista tradition, and at 18, he picked
up the rabeca (a traditional fiddle). Martins was a member of bands like
