Lucille Marie Raymonde Savoie, known professionally as Lucille Starr, was a
Canadian singer and songwriter born on May 13, 1938, in Saint Boniface,
Manitoba. She began singing in church during her childhood years and later
learned to play guitar, bass, and mandolin after moving to Maillardville,
