Born on January 27, 2004 in Castres, France, Lou Jean began singing and taking acting lessons at the age of 8. It was four years later, however, that she shot to fame when she was selected by the casting team for TF1's TV talent show The Voice Kids, who had spotted cover videos posted by the young singer on social networks. During season 3 of the show, the singer known only by her first name was chosen by Jenifer and reached the final of the competition, where she lost to Manuela Diaz.
