Born in Nîmes (Gard) on January 2, 1989, Laurent Coulondre started out playing
drums before turning to the piano. His discovery of jazz led him to join the Big
Band de Petite Camargue, with whom he discovered the stage, and then the Jime &
Cies ensemble. After studying music in Vauvert and Toulouse, he continued his
training at the Escuela Superior de Música de Catalunya in Barcelona, where he
played the Hammond organ. Based in Paris, he formed the Laurent Coulondre Trio,
