King Giddra, a Japanese hip hop group formed in 1993, consisted of K DUB SHINE
(MC/concept leader), ZEEBRA (MC), and DJ OASIS (DJ). The trio, all born in Tokyo
but with experiences living in the United States, named their group after the
three-headed monster King Ghidorah from the Godzilla films. Their debut album
空からの力 (The Power from the Sky), released on December 10, 1995, marked their
breakthrough moment and was influenced by American rap group Public Enemy. The
