Josie Cotton, born Josey Jones in 1956 in Dallas, Texas, is an American singer
known for her contributions to pop rock and rock music. She began her career
singing with local bands in Dallas before moving to Los Angeles, California. Her
breakthrough came when she met Larson Paine, who introduced her to "Johnny Are
You Queer?", a song previously performed live by The Go-Go's. Released as a
