The elaborately named Argentinian rock group Indio Solari y Los Fundamentalistas
del Aire Acondicionado, was conceived by Carlos Alberto Solari (born Paraná,
Entre Ríos, Argentina on January 17, 1949), in 2004. The group formed from the
ashes of the vocalist's former band Patricio Rey y Sus Redonditos de Ricota, and
was initially a solo project for Solari, who uses the pseudonym "Protoplasman"
to refer to himself. They expanded and weathered a number of lineup changes over
