Hitomi Ishikawa, born Hitomi Yamada on September 20, 1959, in Nishi-ku, Nagoya,
Aichi Prefecture, Japan, is a Japanese singer and voice actress. She began her
musical journey at an early age, playing the piano and singing along to records
at home. In March 1978, Ishikawa moved to Tokyo after winning the Fuji TV
audition program You're a Star! and joined Watanabe Productions. Her debut as an
idol singer came in May 1978, with the single "Migitsume Migi" ("Turn Right")
