Yang Hee-eun (양희은) is a legendary South Korean singer and songwriter, born on August 13, 1952, in Seoul, South Korea. She began her music career in the early 1970s and is widely regarded as a pioneer of Korean folk music. Her breakthrough came with her debut album, Yang Hee-eun's Collection of Fine Songs (1971), which featured the iconic tracks "Morning Dew" and "Senoya", both composed by Kim Min-ki.
