Hazell Dean, born Hazell Poole on October 27, 1952, in Great Baddow, Essex,
England, is a singer known for her contributions to pop and dance music. She
began her career in the mid-1970s, initially releasing pop/soul singles under
Decca Records. Hazell Dean's breakthrough came in the 1980s when she
transitioned to hi-NRG dance music. In June 1984, "Searchin' (I Gotta Find a
Man)" (1983) became her first Top 10 hit in the UK, peaking at number 6. This
success was followed by other notable singles such as "Whatever I Do (Wherever I
Go)" (1984), which reached number 4 on the UK char...
