Greetje Kauffeld
Greetje Kauffeld, born 26 November 1939 in Rotterdam, Netherlands, is a Dutch
jazz singer who began her career in the early 1960s as a pop and Schlager
performer. Her first single, "Niet Voor Mij" (1960), was followed by a series of
German-language releases such as "Nur Eine Schlechte Kopie" (1961) and "Jeden
Tag, Da Lieb' Ich Dich Ein Kleines Bißchen Mehr" (1963). After signing with
Polydor, she released her debut studio album And Let The Music Play in 1974, and
continued with Days Of Summer (1975), Days of Love (1976), and Some Other Spring
(1980). In 1987 she issued The Song ...
