Freedom Williams
Born Frederick Brandon Williams in Brooklyn, New York, on February 13, 1966, the
singer and rapper is better known as Freedom Williams and a member of C+C Music
Factory. He attended sound engineering school and was working in the studio when
he met the two producers behind The Crew, who recorded the hit "Get Dumb! (Free
Your Body)" in 1989. Robert Clivillés and David Cole called on him again for the
C+C Music Factory project, which led to the 1990 club hits "Gonna Make You Sweat
(Everybody Dance Now)", "Here We Go (Let's Rock & Roll)" and "Things That Make
