Fabian
Fabiano Anthony Forte, known by the stage name of Fabian, was born on 6 February
1943 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. A singer and actor who rose to prominence
after performing several times on American Bandstand, Fabian's career began when
he was discovered by Bob Marcucci and Peter DeAngelis of Chancellor Records in
1957. His first single, "Shivers", became a local hit in Chicago, leading to his
appearance on American Bandstand, where he performed "I'm in Love". Fabian's
breakthrough came with the release of "Turn Me Loose" in 1959, which peaked at
