Born in Nancy in 1995, Etienne Manchon is a pianist who lives and works between
Toulouse and Paris. Passionate about jazz and contemporary music since his
teens, he has given over 500 concerts at the age of 27, as a leader and sideman
in a variety of styles. Influenced by Pink Floyd, Jozef Dumoulin, and the New
York scene (Ben Wendel, Mark Guiliana, Taylor Eigsti), Manchon explores rhythm
and melody, with particular attention to sound treatment. Since 2016, he has
been performing as a piano-bass-drums trio, championing compositions that are
sometimes intimate, sometimes grandiloq...
