DEEIKEL
Deeikel (Adrián Obregón Mora), a native of Santa Teresa de Cóbano, Puntarenas,
Costa Rica, first dabbled in music at age six through the country’s Sistema
Nacional de Educación Musical, learning violin and later teaching himself piano
and guitar via online tutorials. In June 2020, under the name “Deeikel”—a
tribute to his grandmother’s wished-for name—he released his debut single
“Vainilla,” marking the start of his musical journey despite initial hesitation.
