German singer Daffi Cramer, born Angelika Ramme in 1954, began her musical
career in 1972 with a cover of Little Eva's hit "The Loco-Motion". Working with
producer Tony Hendrik, she released her first single "Locomotion" backed with
"Party-Boy" on Ariola. Cramer gained significant attention with the release of
"Charly, lass dir einen Bart steh'n", a composition by Günther Behrle and John
Kongos produced by Fritz Muschler in 1976. The song peaked at Number 27 on the
