Ashida Daisuke, known professionally as DABO, was born on 6 January 1975 in
Japan and emerged as a prominent rap singer. After early collaborations with
Shakkazombie on "Tomo ni ikkō" and joining Nitro Microphone Underground in 1997,
he released his first single "Mr. Fudatzkee" in 1999. DABO’s breakthrough came
in 2001 when he signed with Def Jam Japan, becoming the first Japanese artist to
join the American label, and released the album "PLATINUM TONGUE", which peaked
