Bret Peter Tarrant McKenzie, born on June 29, 1976, in Wellington, New Zealand,
is a musician, songwriter, keyboard player, and actor. He formed the comedy folk
duo Flight of the Conchords with Jemaine Clement in 1998, releasing their debut
album Folk the World Tour in 2002. The duo gained international recognition
through their BBC radio series and HBO television show, which aired from 2007 to
