Banda Tierra Sagrada was formed in 2011 in Mazatlán, Sinaloa, by former members
of Banda Tierra Santa who had previously worked with José Ángel “El Coyote”
Ledesma. The group made their official debut with the album El Último Botón
(2012), which introduced tracks like “Miéntele,” “Ya No Me Haces Falta,” and the
title song. They gained widespread attention in 2013 with the release of De lo
Bueno, lo Mejor, driven by the charting single “El Bueno y El Malo,” a duet with
Colmillo Norteño, followed by its female counterpart “La Buena y La Mala.” In
