Real name Anthony Peaks, Apache was an American rapper born on December 26, 1964
in Jersey City, New Jersey, and died on January 22, 2010. He got his start as
part of the Flavor Unit collective, alongside artists such as Queen Latifah,
Naughty by Nature and Lakim Shabazz. His career took off in the early 1990s,
thanks to his hardcore style and direct flow, typical of East Coast rap at the
time. In 1993, he released his only solo album, Apache Ain't Shit, on Tommy Boy
