American rapper Aminé made a name for himself on his debut in 2016 with the
melodic hit "Caroline". Born in Portland, Oregon, on April 18, 1994 to parents
of Ethiopian and Eritrean ancestry, Adam Aminé Daniel, as he is known, studied
business at university before turning to music. In 2014, he released the mixtape
Odyssey to Me, followed by the EP En Vogue and another mixtape, Calling Brio
(2015). Released shortly afterwards, the single "Caroline" peaked at number 11
on the Billboard Hot 100 and earned three certified platinum discs for its
